This release is the result of your feedback, your bug reports, your patience, and your trust. v2 was shaped by the community from top to bottom, and I also put a lot of personal care into this update to make the everyday experience smoother, faster, and better for everyone.

This announcement is mainly for existing users. You helped build this version.

   Pages load faster, interactions feel snappier, and the experience is more responsive.

   Text chat is live and now a core part of community activity.

   It is easier to find creators, posts, topics, and conversations.

Chat And Calls Status

Standalone chat support at chat.outsized.social is live and backed by the shared platform stack. This is a standalone version of the chat that you can install with "Add to Homescreen" on both Android and iOS to take the site chat with you.

Text chat is live now. Audio calling is coming soon. Video calling is planned, but enabling it well requires more server funding.
