OutSized v2.5 Updates
Announcing a handful of new features, bug fixes, layout changes and more!
Hey fellas, it's time for some long overdue updates: Say hello to OutSized v2.5!
New Features:
Split chat out of the primary sidebar into it's own new sidebar on the opposite side of the page.
Merged all the chat sidebar tabs into one re-arrangeable tab. Now all the users show up together in nice little sections you can organize to your hearts' content!
Chat UI improvements: Fixed a slew of small layout issues and added the rich text editor for composing messages. You can also more easily leave chat rooms now with a dedicated button up at the top right.
Voice Chat (beta): In the General chat room, as well as in your private conversations, you can now click the green button at the top left to initiate a voice call! Calls to rooms work like most modern platforms, you just drop in and out, but calling a user directly will cause their site to ring! You can adjust the ringtone in your settings (along with some of our other notification sounds).
Blocked and Muted users, tags, and labels now properly hide their respective posts, comments, etc, giving you more control over what and who you see.
Search Improvements: Search got a major overhaul on the backend side (as well as a fancy new UI you can find by clicking search in the main navigation). Searches should be more stable, faster, and all around better.
360/VR Videos: You can now upload VR videos to our video gallery! Users without a headset can drag on the video to look around it, and users with a headset can watch the videos immersively.
If you guys notice issues with any of these new changes, please leave Feedback in the forums or the Feedback chat, or if you have suggestions for what needs improvements next, leave it there too!
Also, Kodex and I have both posted some new Assets for our community montage makers to use, I know it may have been kinda unclear before, but the Stock Assets are for folks to post both "other" files (like the 3d printing model from Redd), as well as photos of yourself that you're ok with people using to make montages.
