OutSized works when members can share niche interests without being harassed, misled, or exposed. These expectations apply anywhere you interact with other members, including profiles, posts, comments, forums, chat, collections, and collaboration tools.

1. Adults only

You must be at least 18 years old and meet the age of majority in your jurisdiction. An account belonging to someone under 18 will be banned.

2. Follow the content rules everywhere

Every submission must follow the Content Guidelines. This includes profile text, forum threads, stories, media, assets, collections, comments, chat messages, and links.

3. Treat people with respect

  • Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, or target another member.
  • Do not share another person's private or identifying information.
  • Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship to their work.
  • Respect boundaries in messages, comments, collaboration requests, and live spaces. Stop when someone asks you to stop.

4. Curate your own experience

Content can be allowed without being right for you. If a lawful, correctly labeled post is not to your taste, move on instead of attacking the creator or audience. Use available discovery and account controls to shape what you see. Report content when you believe it breaks a rule.

5. Label and tag accurately

Apply labels only when the labeled subject appears in that specific post. For a story series, label each chapter based on its own content and label the series only for themes that are meaningful across the larger work.

Tags cover useful details that do not have a curated label. Do not duplicate a label as a tag, and do not add unrelated popular terms just to reach more searches.

6. Participate in good faith

  • Do not spam, manipulate engagement, or repeatedly post the same material.
  • Do not abuse reports, support channels, or collaboration tools.
  • Follow moderator instructions about a specific interaction or piece of content.

Reporting and enforcement

Use the Report action on the relevant content or account and choose the most accurate reason. Staff review reports in context. Depending on severity and history, enforcement may include a note, warning, restriction, content removal, suspension, or ban.

You can follow your report and staff-visible updates from Privacy & Safety. For help when the report action is unavailable, visit the Help Center.
