Your account holds your profile, your posts, and the preferences that shape what you see on OutSized. This page covers who can join and where each part of your account is managed.

Who can join

OutSized is an adults-only community. You must be at least 18 years old and meet the age of majority required in your jurisdiction to create or use an account.

Your profile

Your public profile lives at /profiles/<username>. Open it and select Edit profile to change your display name, status message, avatar, location, and timezone, and the optional identity, size, and interest details other members can see and search.

  • Only fill in the optional details you are comfortable sharing publicly.
  • Interest labels on your profile help other members find people with shared interests.
  • Your profile also lists your published posts and galleries, so changes there appear on the profile automatically.

Settings

Settings holds preferences that apply across the site:

  • General: how your public name appears and the units used for height and weight.
  • Posts: your default feed audience, default feed post types, and your default post license. See Choosing a License before changing it.
  • Appearance: accent palette, neutral surfaces, and theme.
  • Sounds: sounds for messages, notifications, and success or error feedback.
  • Notification Preferences: which kinds of activity notify you.
  • Presence: whether members you are not connected with can message you, and call behavior.
  • Content filters: tags and labels you mute or block, and the label interests used to personalize discovery.

Privacy and safety controls

Your likes and the members you follow are public. Bookmarks are private, as described in Bookmarks, Collections, and Series.

Privacy & Security in your dashboard lists the members you have muted or blocked and the reports you have submitted. Reporting is covered in Reporting Content.

When something is wrong with your account

If you cannot sign in, need a privacy request handled, or see something on your account you did not do, use Contact Support.
